Sokollab was founded in 2019, opening the first K-Pop and K- Beauty store in the UK. It was with great pleasure, that Prime Solutions was chosen to fit-out their second reatil store, which was to be located in Birmingham City centre, to cater for the growing demand for their products from the Midland area and wishing to make the Sokollab Experience available to all the followers and clientele located outside of London.
The target was to do a fast track shopfitting of existing retail premises so that they could be open for the Christmas trading period, and subsequently set a target of just under four weeks to complete all of the works. Finalisation of the design and detail ensued during the fit-out contracts period and target opening date was met with great success.
The fit out works included stripping out the old partitions and finishes of the previous retailer, installing new partitions, additional small power, new lighting and distribution board. Joinery included new kitchen units, doors and skirting. Complete decoration of the interior with a concrete effect feature wall was carried out, with the external facade also repaired and redecorated. New floor finishes was added, and the store was completed by the installation of bespoke display shelving, racking and a shop counter.
Upon handover the client commented,
“It has been great working with you, appreciate all the advice. It looks just how I pictured it. This makes me so happy.”
